Atos Group is committed to the most demanding 1.5ºC science-based Target
2025 was a pivotal milestone for Atos Group’s decarbonization journey. It marks the achievement of our near-term science-based target to reduce our absolute Greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2025 (All GHG Protocol Scopes 1, 2 and 3 ; in CO2e) compared to 2019.
Based on our decarbonization plans, policies (notably the environmental policy), processes, guidelines and action plans underpinned by the Environmental Management System (EMS), Atos Group is organized to achieve the emission reductions and energy efficiency needed to fight climate change.

- In 2025, Atos Group won the Green Data center of the Year at the Data Center World Awards 2025 and Atos Group was recognized with honourable mention of Operation Pioneer at the 2nd Siemens Zero-Carbon Pioneer Award.
Future decarbonization targets
Following the achievement of the current near-term target, we are committed to further our decarbonization commitments with new short, long and net-zero targets to be submitted to the SBTi for validation.

Our environmental journey
Our environmental program is focused on reducing the environmental impacts of our activities based on environmental awareness and empowerment of our employees. The Atos Environmental Program has significantly reduced our carbon footprint, meeting the most demanding scientific objectives of the Science-Based Target initiative (SBTi) to keep global warming at 1.5°C.
